Cancellation Policy
Because this is a very small inn, cancellations seriously jeopardize our ability to remain open since we keep the cost of rooms as low as possible, so please abide by our cancellation policy.
(Note: (1) There is no cancellation penalty for individuals who have reserved a bed in the Friendship Room of the Mountain House; (2) Reservations are transferable, so you are welcome to have family, friends, or others assume your reservation in your place as long as either you or they pay the full price.)
• For cancellations made 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, a 10% service fee will be charged to your credit card.
• For cancellations made 4-13 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, the full amount of the reservation will be charged to your credit card, and we will email to you a gift certificate for the full amount of the rooms. You can use this gift certificate for lodging any weekday (Sunday through Thursday nights) except holidays within the subsequent six months unless other arrangements (such as a weekend reservation) are requested and approved. A parchment copy in addition to the email copy is available upon request.
• For cancellations made 2-3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, a fee of $50 will be charged to your credit card.
• For cancellations made the day before or the day of your scheduled arrival date, the price of one night's lodging will be charged to your credit card.
• As an alternative to our cancellation policy, we will accept the policies of nearby B&Bs (The Angler's Inn, Jackson Rose, Laurel Lodge, and the Ledge House) for cancellations with 0-13 days notice. (See below for details take n from their websites.)

Angler's Inn:
If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days in advance for any reason, you are subject to one night's room charge for the cancellation.
If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not arrive for your reservation on the day scheduled, you are subject to charge for the entire stay booked.
Jackson Rose:
For cancellations, we require at least 72 hours notice prior to date of arrival in order to avoid incurring a charge ($50 charge for weeknight stays; $100 for weekend stays). Cancellations on date of arrival will result in one night's charge. For multiple room reservations, we require a full week's notice of cancellation to avoid charges (same charges a above per room booked).
Laurel Lodge:
Rooms may be guaranteed with an advance deposit equal to the first night's stay by credit card or check. If you cancel your reservation less than 14 days before your arrival, your first night's room charge plus applicable taxes is nonrefundable. Upon arrival, you are responsible for the full balance of your confirmed stay. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not arrive for your reservation as scheduled, or depart early, you will be charged for the entire stay.
Ledge House:
Cancellations require 7-day notice
If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days in advance for any reason, you are subject to one night's room charge for the cancellation.
If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not arrive for your reservation on the day scheduled, you are subject to charge for the entire stay booked.
