We depend on our guests to faithfully fulfill their agreement according to the information set forth in the confirmation letter. Remember that reservations are transferable, so you are welcome to have family, friends, or others assume your reservation in your place as long as either you or they pay the full price.
Because this is a very small inn, cancellations seriously jeopardize our ability to remain open since we keep the cost of rooms as low as possible, so please abide by our cancellation policy, which is a standard cancellation policy for B&Bs and small inns throughout the world. Unlike highway hotels and chain motels, small family-owned inns and B&Bs cannot absorb the loss of income that results from cancellations since we take our rooms off the market and turn away guests who are interested in our limited number of rooms once the rooms have been reserved. We rarely get last-minute walk-ins. Consequently, cancellation fees are rarely waived except in “act of God” situations (such as extreme, unsafe weather conditions) that make travel to the Inn dangerous or impossible.
- For cancellations made 7 days prior to check-in on your scheduled arrival date, a 10% service fee may be charged to your credit card. This amount will be a credit on your account that can be applied to a non-Saturday, non-holiday future reservation.
- For cancellations made 4-6 days prior to check-in on your scheduled arrival date, a fee of 50% will be charged to your credit card.
- For cancellations made 0-3 days prior to check-in on your scheduled arrival date or for “no shows,” the full price of the reservation will be charged to your credit card.
